I attended IDWeek in San Diego last week and was able to take in a few sights, enjoy a few eats, and mingle with the brightest and best in infectious disease. I wouldn’t trade being an infectious disease physician for any other medical specialty!
San Diego was lovely the first day – 90s and sunny. But it soon became gray, drizzling, and downright chilly in the low 70s! Oh well!
